What can I do about Premier Health Clinic 50th street Lubbock not giving me my test results?
I have a mass on my neck. I went to Premier Health Clinic on 50th Street in Lubbock,TX. They did some lab work and ordered a sonogram of the mass at Wellness Center. I went there last Monday and had the test done. I waited 3 days to give them times to get the results then I called. I have called everyday repeated trying to get the results, or an appointment or something. Most of the time it is just an answering machine. I leave several messages every day. When I get a person on the phone they promise to look into it and call me back but they never do. I have asked for an appointment but the receptionist says they are completely booked up. Even after I explain my situation. I paid cash for these test and I just want to get the results and get referred to a specialist. So I really don't want to go to another doctor and start from square one and pay for the tests all over again. What can I do? I am so frustrated and I need help. You are right! your mistake is asking for information over the phone, they cannot give it to you. what you have to do is go in person and request a copy of the results, by law they have to give it to you, tho they may charge you for making the copy. Private patient information cannot be given out over the phone.
