About how much does a waitress make in lubbock, tx

how much does a waitress make in lubbock, tx?
I'm from Hobbs, NM and am looking into moving to Lubbock. I am a college student right now and already waitress. I realize that it depends on the restaurant. Anyone waitress? Where are you working at and how much are you pulling?

Im a waitress in Houston texas and i usually pull about two hundred dollars a day.

I am a college student as well. I work at a golf club in PA for $2.83/hour. I know other golf clubs give $3.83/hour. We have a lot of functions (with alcohol!) and on average, I make around $70. It really depends on the day. One day I make $120 and the next I can make $20. That's the beauty of the waitress business! I am sure that if you work at a chain/franchise, you will be making a lot more. But I prefer where I am because it isn't as stressful and the money is still good! Good luck!

I was wondering if there are any organizations that might help?
He's only had them for a year. We got the glasses in dallas. They don't have that place here. If their broken in half I have to get him a new pair. I really can't afford that. I work for the lubbock housing authority. He recently had surgery, so he's out of work.

Call and ask a few optical places which ones will take time payments. Also consider calling your local health and human welfare agency.

I would suggest you check in your area for Association for the blind. I would contact them and explain your situation and see if they could help you. In the area I live in they helped by replacing a pair of glasses of mine that I had lost at no charge. If you cannot find a number try calling your local disability agency. In our area it is under Disability Services! I hope this information helps you.
